Comic Books

Kids are drawn to comic books, whether it's the pictures or the pure visual nature that assists the reader in connecting the words to what's actual taking place on the page or in the story line. When I was growing up there was no way teachers would allow students to use graphica type literature to learn. However, that is exactly what many teachers are beginning to use to teach everything from comprehension to how writing takes place.
